Thank you somuch for the patern I love it. Mine came out too big. http://www.diva27406.blogspot.com/ pic of my hat but that means nothing all I have to do is use a smaller hook I have great plans for this pattern a neck warmer and a purse.... Again Thank you. The one i made will be a bag since it is too big for a hat.

I love this hat, it would be really nice if you could add a stitch guide. I had to look at another pattern to help me with the cables.

I made this cap for my daughter using Patons Classic Wool. Your pattern is an excellent fit and the cap is so soft and toasty. Thanks for the great patterns you have here.

Help! I'm pretty beginner but a fast learner--what do the asterisks in the pattern mean? I've got everything else down pat, but am stuck. I really love this hat, I can't handle two needles but love the cable look. This is perfect! ...If I could make it....

The asterisks mean to repeat the instructions inside them either the times stated or until the row is finished. If you need any more help feel free to e-mail me! ~Sarah

First of all I would like to say you do beautiful work! I have been working on this pattern all day and can't seem to get it. I understand the cable part and I see the pattern turning but I'm doing something wrong. I don't have a pattern inbetween the cables. Thanks for your help.

Very cute hat! I crocheted it in about half a day. It would have been less time, but my brain was on vacation and I kept doing things wrong and had to start over several times. The directions were great, it was just me that was the problem. I am going to try some of your other patterns. It amazes me how you can think up these patterns. I have to go by a pattern. Anyway, you are very talented, and thanks so much for the pattern. I am anxiously awaiting more patterns.

Hey, thank you so much for the free patterns, I'm using this one to make hats for under-privledged children and really love the child- sizes guide so I don't have to write an adjustment. I've only done half a hat so far because I started late last night but the pattern is coming out beautifullly. Figuring out how to cable in crochet is a brilliant and original idea. I love all your patterns thank you sooo much.

I love this pattern, but I don't know what I am doing wrong. I get all the cable work and all that, but when I get to row six I follow the instructions, but I am coming out with more stitches than what you say I should have. I have had to start over a few times. What can I do?

I love this pattern and I love the hat I made from it. Here is a picture of the hat that I made, http://iamcarlysmoker.blogspot.com/2010/01/cables.html The only thing I did different is I worked it in the round and it worked perfectly.
